Ulema and Members of Hilal Council of Canada met at Masjid Darus Salaam on the eve of 24th June, 2017 (29th of Ramadan) and is pleased to announce, in accordance with principle of Ittehadul Matalee ( Global Sighting), hilal has been sighted in South America (Guyana, Chile and Trinidad). After proper verification on information received on hilal sighting, the hilal for Shawwal has been confirmed as sighted and accordingly Eidul Fitr will be, InshaAllah, on Sunday, June 25,2017.
